PinoyTalks is an independent online community for Filipino workers, particularly OFWs in Saudi Arabia.
Information We Collect
When you create or use a PinoyTalks account, we may collect:
• Your username and email address
• Your profile name and profile picture
• Information supplied by Google or Facebook when you choose social login
• Discussions, comments, messages and other content you submit
• Technical information such as IP address, browser type and server logs
Facebook Login
When you use Continue with Facebook, PinoyTalks requests only:
• public_profile
• email
This information is used to create or connect your PinoyTalks account, display your profile and allow you to access community features.
Google Login
When you use Continue with Google, PinoyTalks may receive your name, email address and profile image to create or connect your account.
How We Use Information
We use account information to:
• Create and manage your account
• Allow you to post questions and replies
• Send verification, password reset and forum notification emails
• Prevent spam, abuse and unauthorized access
• Moderate and improve the community
Information Sharing
PinoyTalks does not sell users’ personal information. Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate the website, including hosting, email delivery and authentication providers.
Public Content
Questions, discussions and replies posted publicly may be visible to other users and search engines. Do not publish Iqama numbers, passport numbers, phone numbers, addresses or other confidential information.
Data Retention
Account information and community content may be retained while your account remains active and as reasonably necessary for security, moderation, legal compliance and community integrity.
Requesting Access or Deletion
You may request deletion of your PinoyTalks account and associated personal information by following the instructions on our Data Deletion page.
